Closeout doesn't have user accounts and doesn't require signing in. Your shift, venue, and tip data — cash and card tips, hours, wages, tip-out formulas, points-pool details, and any paychecks you log — is stored locally on your device only. None of it is sent to any server, because Closeout doesn't have one.
We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind within the app.
Google Play Billing. If you choose to unlock Premium, that one-time purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. Closeout never sees or stores your payment information — Google handles this according to its own Privacy Policy.
Closeout does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any device data unrelated to this feature.
Closeout is built to track real income — cash and card tips, hours, wages, and paycheck amounts. That's sensitive information, so it's worth being direct: none of it ever leaves your device. There's no account, no cloud sync, and no server that could be breached, because none of those things exist in this app.
Closeout does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all. The app is not directed at children and is intended for use by working adults tracking their own income.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since Closeout doesn't collect contact information, we can't notify you directly — checking back here occasionally is the best way to stay informed.
